Privacy Policy
VV Google MCP is a private, personal AI assistant operated by Valentin Van on a personal NAS. It connects Pi and private Discord specialist agents to the owner’s Google account for the personal workflows described below.
Information accessed from Google
With the owner’s authorization, VV Google MCP requests the following OAuth scopes:
openidandhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.emailto identify the authorized Google account;https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonlyto read Gmail messages and metadata;https://www.googleapis.com/auth/driveto access Google Drive files;https://www.googleapis.com/auth/documentsto access Google Docs;https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheetsto access Google Sheets; andhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendarto access Google Calendar.
The application uses this information only to provide the owner’s requested assistant functions. Gmail access is read-only. Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar data may be changed only when the owner explicitly requests a change. Outbound email and permanent Google deletions are blocked.
How information is used and shared
Google data is processed locally on the owner’s NAS to answer requests and perform explicitly requested actions. It is not sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to build advertising profiles. The application does not use analytics, advertising technology, cookies, or tracking on this website.
VV Google MCP’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage, retention, and security
OAuth refresh tokens are stored privately on the owner’s NAS and are used to maintain authorized access. Google data is not intentionally stored beyond what is needed to perform requested work and operate the assistant. Operational logs may be retained locally for security, auditing, and troubleshooting; they are not used for advertising or sold. Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used to protect locally stored information.
Your choices
The owner can revoke VV Google MCP’s access at any time through the Google Account permissions page. Revoking access prevents future use of the revoked authorization. The owner may also contact the operator to ask questions about data handling.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the application’s practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised date. For privacy questions, contact valentin.van32@gmail.com.
